Cats of the Valley

...is a small, terminally incomplete project of mine that I'm working on just for fun. Basically it's a text-based emergent sim video game where all the characters in the world have their own actions and behavior, etc. Only in this case, all the characters are warrior cats from the hit series Warrior Cats.

FAQ

Q: Why warrior cats?

A: I've had a lot of other emergent sim projects fall victim to scope creep over the years. It's a lot easier to make a game that answers the question "Have I effectively simulated the Warrior Cats books?" than "Have I simulated reality/tribal geopolitics/this huge and complex thing I have in my head?" Also, since they're cats, they live relatively straightforward and easy-to-simulate lives. Also I like the series.

Q: When will it be finished?

A: Probably never. I'm making it just to make it, you know?
