About this "wiki"

This isn't a real wiki. It's just a place for me to organize my notes.

What kind of sources am I allowed to use for my playthrough?

ACCEPTABLE:

• The Angband manual (I know, I know, but I want to be confused about the game's content, not how to play)
• Information about Lord of the Rings that is not specific to Angband (i.e. the regular lotr wiki, lore discussions)
• Information about other games, such as AD&D, that could be relevant to Angband
• Guesses based on things I know about other roguelikes

UNACCEPTABLE:

• Sources, such as wikis, that are specifically about Angband
• The "ego items" section in the Angband manual
• Forums
• Code digging
• Wizard mode
• Spoiler files

Citations on this "wiki" are letters that refer to my play sessions. Citations are not used for information that is obviously true, such as object descriptions, but are used for assumptions, theories, questions, and first impressions.
